Gauze sponges are folded by automatic gauze sponge machines. Workers will count the gauze sponges and put each pile of gauze sponges ,say, 1 pc, 2 pcs, 5 pcs, at appointed positions of packing machines. Packing machines will then pack and seal each pouch with high temperature with gauze sponge packed inside.

Customers who prefer to sterilize gauze sponge at destinations would require us to pack gauze sponge in pouches but not to sterilize gauze sponge before shipment. The users, hospitals or clinical centers, will sterilize the gauze sponge with EO gas or heat before usage.
Under this case, sterilization indicating dot printed on the pouch can be selected. For example when the gauze sponge is not sterilized, the indicator is red color; After sterilization is made, the color will change to blue.
Sterilization process:
The label will change from red to blue after sterilization in the sterilization chamber with ethylene oxide gas concentration of 600 mg/l (+30 mg/l), temperature of 54 (+2 C), relative humidity of 60% (+10% RH) and time of 3-6 h, indicating that the product has been sterilized by ethylene oxide.
