Structure and material of laryngeal mask airway:

The silica gel larynx is composed of cuff, laryngeal mask airway tube, connector,inflation tube, pilot balloon and one-way valve(check valve).The material of laryngeal mask airway tube, inflation tube, pilot balloon, cuff is made of silica gel.

Anaesthesia before insertion of the laryngeal mask

(1) Intravenous induction of propofol: laryngeal mask can be induced after intravenous injection of propofol without the use of muscle relaxants. But induction by thiopental is not allowed because it can cause severe laryngeal spasm.

(2) Neurodiazepine and analgesic anaesthesia: Remove phlegm, intravenous injection of fentanyl fentanyl mixture combined with surface anesthesia, the laryngeal mask can be inserted.

(3) Inhalation general anesthesia: inhalation of O2-N2O (1:2) till low concentration isoflurane induced laryngeal reflex disappears and mandibular relaxes, laryngeal mask airway can be placed , but we should not that anesthesia can not be too shallow.
